This is a local dealership here in Orlando. I think this is awesome that they have partnered with K9s for Warriors for 2015. They said in a commercial they would give $22 for each car sold. I am thinking that is kinda cheap. Then I saw their explanation...see below. I think they ROCK. We are trying to raise awareness that 22 veterans per day, on average, commit suicide. However, that number is dramatically decreased and almost entirely eliminated when a veteran is paired with a service dog. We have committed to a donation of at least $60,000 this year, which will provide 4 service dogs to veterans who have been on waiting lists for years. We could not state we were going to make that donation per car, were it not true as it would jeopardize the 501-c status of K9s for Warriors. We hope to have a lot of events this year to raise even more funds by doing things for our customers to take part in.
