This is a lot of info, but very exciting! Small Group Fitness classes are coming to our Fitness Space in January. The class options and details are listed below. Instructor is @Luis Martinez-Fitness Instruction and he is your contact for registration. He will be in Omni Salon/Spa (near front desk) for registration this Saturday from 9am-1pm. Youre also welcome to call or email him. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SMALL GROUP WELLNESS There is strength in numbers, that is an old saying that still rings true today. When it comes to trying to be healthier, like anything else, it helps to have others around you who are trying to do the same thing. When youre feeling like you cant reach your goal, your buddy is there to help you along. The potential for individual change is far greater within a social support you need to make health, wellness, and fitness a permanent part of your life. Description: Membership begins with a team wide orientation where goals are set, support systems are implemented, and assessments are made. From that point forward, weekly sessions will consist of Q&A tie followed by small group exercise. Benefits: Measurable progress, realistic goal setting, incentives, support systems, permanent positive change in your health, wellness, and fitness. Format: This is a twelve week course which consists of one class session per week as well as an online social support component. Rate:239.88 for 12 week course. Wednesdays from 7:30pm to 9:00pm-course begins Jan.8th YOUTH WEIGHT LOSS Rationale: The risk of contracting a chronic disease at a young age increases with the presence of excessive body fat. Description: Weekly small group fitness classes for young people ages 13 & up. Support System: Support is offered for Moms & Dads in maintaining healthy lifestyles for their children. This comes in the form of dietary advice as well regular physical activity ideas. Service includes: Orientation, support systems, assessments, and exercise variety. Rate: 203.88 for 12 week course. (Sorry, no refunds) Times: Saturdays from 11:30am to 12:30pm-course begins Jan. 4th. Mondays from 4:00pm to 5:00pm-course begins Jan. 6th. SMALL GROUP SENIOR FITNESS Description: Weekly small group fitness class for seniors designed to address longevity and quality of life. Whether you want to regain, maintain, or improve your ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs), this class will help you do that. Benefits: Balance, coordination, muscle growth, bone growth, strength, stamina and endurance. Rate:179.88 for 12 week course.
