This is a message I left for Mike Rowe of "Dirty Jobs" and Now "Skills Gap" fame. . . Howdy, Thought I would leave you a message about the "Skills Gap" and how it affects some of those with disabilities that need non-medical care givers. This might be something of interest due to your "Dirty Jobs" show. The care giver has a 5 gallon bucket of dirty/filthy mob water. She is in the guest bathroom trying to decide is it better to pour it down the toilet which is 5 inches higher than the bathtub, or just dump it in the bathtub and be on her way. (Remember - there is a beginning, a middle and an end to all events that we go through) If she chooses the toilet it is higher to lift 50 pounds of dirty water, but only a flush away from the finishing. . . or she can rest the bucket on the bathtub and splash away and then clean up the bathtub and everything on the edge of the bathtub. ( do not bring greenpeace into the issue please, white vinegar and arm & hammer soda was used). Her choice, splash away into the tub and let the next person cleanup her mess in the bathtub. Where would you have dumped it?
