This is a message to the owner, manager and players of Huddersfield Town football club. Yesterday the football that was served up was third rate in every department. Sideways passing, no tempo or energy and devoid of any real attacking threat. Yet Mr Powell on the official site put it down to two sides cancelling each other out.The only cancelling out was done by you Mr Powell when you cancelled out our attacking threat with Holt once again the loan striker. These over cautious tactics at home are not going to generate the excitement required to put bums on seats is it Mr Hoyle? For anyone who hadnt been for some time you wouldnt have known Mr Robins had been sacked. But thats also part of the problem isnt it Mr Hoyle that the dull as dishwater football played under Mr robins was allowed to go on far too long and you admitted yourself that despite the shocking opening game you wouldnt have sacked him. So effectively you have allowed poor football to become accepted as satisfactory! Yesterday was just one game some might say, but it came after a shocking defeat and the fans needed a reaction. With the exception of Hogg who ran his socks off it was a dire effort. Even those on the radio stated it was like the players didnt care! So i hope the players have to train xmas day all day , because they deserve to after that show. Just a final reminder before i go, Holt was brought in to relieve the pressure on Wells not because we needed to play him as a loan striker! There have been far too many days like yesterday despite a squad that on paper looks exciting and capable of goals. Somehow we find a way to nullify that and provide dismal entertainment that i for one am not prepared to spend money on to go and watch any more. So bloody well sort it out or expect even lower crowds.
