This is a moment Ill always remember. When mom was in the hospital bed at my house the day before she went to hospice care (6 days before she passed) she kept trying to ask me to do something. The words wouldnt come to her and she was getting mad. Finally that night around 8 i was sitting by her in the bed and she said music! So i got my phone and started playing some songs i knew she liked. Each one she shook her head and said not so Id go to the next one. I finally got to this song and her eyes lit up and while vigorously shaking her head yes she said Sarah Sarah! As she listened tears rolled down her cheeks. Well.. i just now put my phone on music and let it play while Im cleaning and this song started to play. I thought i wouldnt be able to listen to it but instead of sad it gave me that happy memory cause at that point it was hit or miss on if she remembered who we were but she tried ALL day to get me to listen to this one song.
