This is a move in Mantoloking New Jersey. This one hundred and ten (110) ton single family home made of stucco, a spanish style roof and monster fireplace incurred massive damage from Hurricane Sandy and the entire ground level was ravished. In order to meet the new FEMA guidelines which had placed this dwelling in a V zone and required a configuration of piling/breakaway walls, W.A. Building Movers moved the dwelling off its current footprint, which allowed for a wood pile foundation to be installed and for the homeowner to save tens of thousands instead of having to install a costly helical and masonry foundation. The move took three days and once the new piling foundation and banding was in place the home was moved back onto the new foundation and original footprint, helping the homeowner get one step closer to getting back home.
