This is a must-read. For the first time, a former vice presidential candidate has publicly asked, Is Obama waging Jihad against America? Obama propped up the Muslim Brotherhood, publicly attacks Israel, arms the Syrian Jihadists, and has even released terrorists. Barack Obama IS destroying the American Republic. Wayne Allyn Root says he has always taken President Barack Obama at his word when he says he’s an American-born Christian. Now that he’s had over five years to watch this president’s actions in office, he still takes him at his word–sort of. Root believes that “American-born Christian” doesn’t fully describe Barack Obama. “I’ve met quite a few Christians who are both Marxists and radical Muslim sympathizers,” he writes in a recent column on Townhall. Root says there’s no reason to believe that Obama isn’t all three. The former Libertarian vice presidential candidate lists Obama’s economic and domestic policies as ample evidence of his dedication to Marxism. When it comes to Islam, he says, “My blue-collar butcher father taught me, ‘Don’t listen to a man’s words, watch his actions.’” Obama’s actions include the intimidation–some would say persecution–of Christians in America and Jews in Israel and the support of Muslims around the world. Christian luminaries like Franklin Graham have spoken out against this president and his anti-Christian policies. Where Obama has the most control–federal departments like the armed services–Christianity seems to be under the greatest attack, Root says. He cites incidents at the Air Force Academy, military funerals, VA hospitals, the Pentagon, and other “prayer services on federal property.” Overseas, Obama’s policies have led to chaos throughout the middle east and the creation of a radical Islamist state in parts of Iraq and Syria. “His policies have certainly hurt our friend and ally Israel,” Root adds, citing approval ratings of Obama in the Jewish nation that approach zero. Barack Obama has not brought much hope to America, but he has certainly wrought change. Through his wanton expansion of the federal government and concomitant debt, misguided educational initiatives like the Common Core, and the unprecedented government overreach of Obamacare, he has changed the nation in ways from which it will be difficult–but not impossible–to recover. Moreover, his negligence when it comes to securing America’s southern border has directly endangered American lives. Are the problems facing America under this president the result of his incompetence, or is he truly waging his own private war against the foundational principles of liberty and human rights upon which this nation was built? Root does not attempt to answer that question, but we might add another to it: does it matter?
