This is a neat photo published in the Albert Lea Tribune in 1957. North Side Drug & Gift Shop (as it was called then) was celebrating its 31st year of business. On the west side of the store, along Bridge St., across the street from Dahls Grocery, all of the employees lined up for the picture. Mr and Mrs Schacht were both pharmacists and began the business in 1926. Their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Langemo, were also pharmacists. I think my mom probably kept this clipping because we were all neighbors on Edgewood.
