This is a nice doghouse for LGDs who dont really go for doghouses...this gampr that was a rehome out of LA, placed on a farm in northern CA, has become the hero of the farm and really well-loved. The father-in-law came over and built him a dog-house. He loves it. When he was briefly with me before going to his new home, he slept in the tack room during the day and out at night, but couldnt see what was going on from inside the tack room. This gives him a great view, and straw, and a roof...he spends a lot of daytime in it. At night he chases bears :) I am just so happy with his new situation, they really reciprocate, take nice care of him as he of them. And he works his butt off...going to get him some backup soon, its him against the frequent bears, lions, coyotes etc. There is no livestock there, its 15 acres of garden, orchard, and beehives. The raccoons got the garden and fruit, the bears got whatever they wanted, so the farmers really are happy hes there now. No more problems.
