This is a nice story. I like critters. Goats are extremely friendly, and if I had some land I would have a few. Id like to have one of those potbellied pigs and a few hens as well and maybe a donkey. Unfortunately, we are city folk, and you cant keep a goat on your balcony. Some of my cousins on my mothers side manage a goat ranch near Marathon, Texas, way out west near the Big Bend. Its an enormous amount of land, which is mostly very dry. Its called the Iron Mountain ranch because Iron Mountain is part of it, and it belongs to some rich guy. Our folks just manage it. The goats are sold for meat on the Mexican market.
