This is a note for all the non-Muslim family and friends on my list: I have added relatives as I find them, and am grateful for connecting with people from my family, however distant. I have also added people from my school days and people from crochet pages and ebay pages and such. So I have a lovely diverse group of people and I value your presence on my Facebook. As many of you have probably surmised, I am Muslim. I converted to Islam over twenty years ago and my faith informs my everyday life to a very great extent. The fact that you did not freak out, unfriend me, block me, and throw holy water at your computer tells me you are okay with the idea of having a Muslim cousin or friend. Yay! Im very happy that you are open-minded about that. If you ever have any questions about Islam or Muslims, whether it is something you have seen on TV or read about, or something I have said on my wall, you are most welcome to ask me on my wall or inbox me or email me. No question is dumb and even the hard questions are okay. Thank you all for being FB friends with me!
