I repeat, NO REPUTABLE BREEDER sells their puppies to pet stores. A reputable breeder wants to interview the prospective puppy buyer to make sure they are good fit. A good breeder will also provide a health guarantee and will be willing to take the dog back if necessary. This puppy mill operator has been arrested and is being charged with at least 95 counts of animal cruelty. When looking to add a dog to your home, DO YOUR HOMEWORK. And that includes rescues, too. Not all rescues are reputable! There are even some puppy brokers who pose as rescues. Puppy mills will cease to exist when there is no market for their product.
