This is a perfect example to add to the debate of if/when a journalist should put down their camera and or mic and intervene in a story. People often forget that not all journalists are just observers or as some would say, vultures, but that they are still human beings. This Norwegian reporter shows in this video that it is possible draw a balance of helping someone in need instead of sitting back and clicking away. He was able to step back, take a deep breath to separate himself from the situation again and get back to his job.
