This is a photo of my dad handing the keys to the last new car Kixmiller sold. Everett Bruce is on the left as hes the one that sold it. The car is a 1969 Dodge Coronet 500. Bruce C. Kixmiller gave up his dealership in 1969 and closed a few years later. Before they closed, Bruce C. Kixmiller was the oldest Dodge and Chrysler dealership in Indiana. Back then they financed their cars to customers and paid Chrysler Corp. for their cars as Kixmiller did not have a floor plan with Chrysler. The dealership was located on the corner of 3rd and Vigo across the street from the Old Catherdral Grade School.
