This is a preview of “Midwest Steam 2009 - Part 1”. The DVD is centered around Train Festival 2009 in Owosso, Michigan and the travels of SP 4449, which left its home in Portland, OR to attend. We follow 4449 traveling through North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and on to Owosso. Action on the festival grounds features EIGHT steam locomotives and some classic diesels. There is also an all-day trip behind 4449. Additional chapters feature NKP 765 at Hoosier Valley Railroad in Judson, Indiana and visits to Little River Railroad and Huckleberry Railroad in Michigan. Multiple tripod-mounted hi-def cameras with high quality microphones were used to record our footage. The DVD is 98 minutes with minimal narration. Thanks for watching!
