This is a public apology: for years I have been slating this as one of the most cringeworthy, irritating and horrific thing I have ever come across. I have attempted to ridicule a friend with his fanatic adoration of this too. With a recent trip to the Chantry Pub in Woodseats, Sheffield, on a Friday night I was suddenly made aware of my mistake. The 80s were GOOD. In fact they were excellent. The originality of its music outshines Simon Cowels manufactured crap by 1000000%. Thank god I dont have a TV to be subjected to this diatribe of conveyer belt rubbish. I would much rather go and see any live local band over what they call pop. Call me old, I dont care.
