This is a quick note to share a heartfelt thank you! for the rapid response to the H-B Woodlawn Secondary Program PACs request for donations to help Earnest Gant pay the homeowners deductible in the wake of a devastating fire at his home. The H-B Woodlawn community it truly a family of learners and their families, and the staff, who take care of one another. In less than 48 hours we collected more than $7000 on-line. Added to checks dropped in the office, our community was able to help Earnest reach his goal. Helping in a time of need and expecting nothing back in return, well, thats the spirit of this holiday season. Since Earnests goal has been met, the on-line fundraising tool has been turned off. However, if youd still like to contribute to the Gant Family, please feel free to do so by dropping a check or cash off in the front office.
