This is a re-post: OIL TIP: Birch for Injury This past week, Jen took a fall and sprained her ankle. We’ve used a number of oils including Lemongrass, Frankincense, AromaTouch and Deep Blue. Though recover is slow, there is no discoloration of the skin. The big gun oil that we finally pulled out, and I hate to mention it because you can only buy it through convention, is Birch Oil. It’s been exciting to pull out that rare oil and have a great purpose for it. Birch can be fantastic for managing injury. We applied all oils topically for this issue directly on the ankle… and yes, we pulled in some of our practitioner neighbors to help us assess if it was a break instead of a sprain. We’ve used our professional team to help us understand what to look for if we need to go a step further. In the meantime, it’s oils to the rescue!* * These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA.
