This is a recap of our Sun - Mon offshore trip on the Impulse Fished the Hudson trolling was next to impossible with all the weeds hit some pots and some tile fishing . on the overnight we had 4 big fat longfin. A few blue sharks overnight also next morning trolling too much weeds. More tile fishing. Got good some good marks and put some baits out. 2 rods go off. Lost one real quick. Got the second one. Nice yellowfin on an Avet SX the totals are 4 longfin ,1 yellowfin, 16 mahi and 13 tilefish . we didnt crush them but did OK. And as always on the Impulse the food by chef Paul Cuomo was top notch first egg and potato sandwiches then lunch pulled pork and eggplant parm sandwiches dinner bacon wrapped filet mashed potatoes and spinach. Blt s for breakfast then grilled chicken Panini with roasted peppers , mozzarella with Balsamic glaze.
