This is a recent poem, that I wrote. :) Steam-Punk At Heart look at this thin sheet of metallic rust on this steam-punk heart. the gears are turning, so slowly; creaking and squeaking in protests. im not sure, if my hearts working; is the engine in it working? because i dont hear the vibrating. it might because theres a few loose screws inside my heart, jingling and jangling; making so much noise. the humming is faint, beneath the noise of loose nuts and bolts tumbling all around; inside me. but the whirring in my heart is still going on; a battle between living and dying.
