This is a reminder to all middle school students that once you get to school you must remain in the middle school. You are not allowed to go to the elementary or high school. 9/6 - 9/26 Anyone interested in joining Renaissance should see Mrs. Wegner in Room 349 or pick up a form outside her room. Forms will be due back by Sept. 27th. 9/13 - 9/27 The first middle school dance will be on Friday September 27 from 3:30 to 6pm. The cost is $4 to get in. Concessions with hot dogs, pickles, snack cakes, candy, and soda will be available. Students please tell your parents to be at the school to pick you up by 6pm. The Tomahawk M.S. Cross Country team traveled to Rhinelander to compete in the Rhinelander Invitational. The team results are not available at this time. For the boy’s out of 51 runners Ty Gerstenberger finished 9th, Evan Plockelman 15th, Jared Leverance 16th, Anthony Ierulli 22nd, Jack Lacina 35th, Jimmy Lee 41st and Hayden Webster 42nd. For the girls, out of 52 runners Aubrey Anderson placed 3rd, Megan Marcks 12th, Morgan Lund 25th, Ashley Klopatek 27th, Morgan Ernst 32nd, Lucy Winger 34th, Ricelle Swan 37th, and Kaylie Svacina 46th. The 7th grade girls’ volleyball team lost a heartbreaker to Medford last night. The B team was very close to winning the third game and match. Libby Peplinski led the way with 10 service points. She was followed by Tiffany DuPlayee with 6. The A team won 1 out of the 3 games. Ailie Stichmann led the way with 7 service points. Taylor Shilts had 6. There were more attempts to set up the ball and attack. The girls also talked more and are improving every game. Good job ladies. 8th grade volleyball won on the road tonight at Medford. The B team won two of three games with scores of 27-26, 13-25, and 25-17. A team swept with scores of 25-10, 25-15, and 25-15. Christianson had seven assists, and Kaminski had two. Wallenfang had five kills, Wegner had four kills, and Shore had four kills also. Theiler, Wallenfang, Hess, and Christianson had four aces a piece. Kurth and Kaminski had three aces each. Lunch for today is Italian meatball sub, romaine salad, baby carrots, cherry tomatoes, orange slices, and mixed fruit. The pizza special is stuffed crust, the diner special is chicken club and the grab and go is a turkey BLT salad.
