This is a sad tale of not reading the Terms and Conditions on a website which offers you a free trial of a product which claims to help you lose weight! I very stupidly clicked on an advert for a wonder food which would help you lose weight, whereby a free trial of the product was offered, only having to pay for postage and packaging. I failed to read the Terms and Conditions and having just received my latest credit card statement, have been charged for “Cleanse Xtrem Ultra” - £89.00 – and “Mega Cleanse Plus” - £95.00. I rang the telephone number on the statement and spoke with a gentleman who said I had failed to read the Terms and Conditions, and that the trial was for 14 days, and if I wasn’t happy with the product(s) then I should have called them to cancel the order(s) – which I of course replied most adamantly that I hadn’t ordered any product(s) from their company, only the free trial. When requesting the free trial, they automatically ask for your payment details and then take the money from your account. There was no mention on their website of how much one would be spending, one wonders if that amount of money was for a month’s supply, just on its own. Thank goodness I have had two emails from one of their employees informing me that “Your order has been cancelled. Please keep the following information for record..” in relation to each of the products. // I am a very unhappy ‘bunny’ and feel really foolish at having been duped over the internet. I won’t trust any website again. Please be wary of the following websites: cleanextremultra - and - megacleanseplus – and most definitely always read through thoroughly any Terms and Conditions on any website, and certainly don’t give over your payment details until you understand the situation.
