This is a scam alert that someone just shared with me: Wanted to pass this along in case anyone else get a phone call like this.... I Just got a phone call from a guy saying he was from Windows support team located in Texas (But he had an accent from India) So I thought Ok I will go along and talk to him for awhile (LOL) He said my computer was sending out signals that there was hacking going on with my computer and someone was trying to access my computer and block it so I cant use it..... Then he went on to say he wanted to **save** my computer, so could he take over and **fix** the problem...LOL.... I told him I HAVE tech support if need be and its from a REAL company, he wanted to know the name of my tech support, I told him its none of his business, he then said he is very worried about my computer, I told him he can be worried all he wants, I am NOT worried... He started to say something else and I hung up. Plus on caller ID the number came up **unknown caller** ALWAYS remember tech support NEVER calls YOU telling you that there are problems with your computer. You have to call them if you suspect a problem....There is NO WAY they can tell if you have problems....Computers DO NOT send out signals to alert tech support something is wrong....SO be alert if you get any of these type calls..... Remember NEVER EVER allow anyone to take control of your computer unless its from tech support YOU called....
