This is a short post ahead of the full report on the Johnston-Gallagher Last Hurrah reunion. Actually when I look up ahead I see my own backside so must me so far behind am about to lap myself. First a big thank you to all who came - we missed everyone who wasnt there. A special thanks to the anonymous donor who provided the BBQ meat for Saturday. A thanks to Gerald Richins, Jerry Tietjen, and Dean Bond for the water for the rest rooms and Bob and Lester for the potable ice water. Thanks is inadequate for our sons and many others who did the set-up and take-down. A whopping thanks to Carmen for tireless work, worry and suggestions that kept me going. There are only 8 of our generation left and I dont expect another opportunity to have them together again. It is sad that we were not all here this time and even sadder that we didnt get a photo of just Mervie, Odet, Jerry and Agnes. I hope all will post their photos and share their stories about the occasion. Ill do my best as soon as I can. Love all of you.
