This is a short story I wrote as a response to the financial crises of 08-09. Now it feels like an artefact of that era, and its like I am falsifying history if i revise it, because I am now writing under very different conditions. But if anyone wants to publish it as is, then just let me know. This has never appeared in print. Since writing this my tastes and my politics have drifted as I have discovered more writers doing similar work, especially WB Sebald.
