This is a shout out to all the drivers who are merging onto a roadway and see a YIELD SIGN... YIELD means you are to YIELD to on-coming traffic and proceed with caution or even STOP if necessary until you can SAFELY enter the intersecting roadway. It DOES NOT mean SPEED up and try to merge in between 2 vehicles already travelling at 60+ miles per hour!! It also DOES NOT mean that the vehicles already travelling on the roadway you are merging with, are supposed to yield to you!!!! I was not involved but almost saw a bad one this morning on my way to work....kudos to the driver that avoided the accident by proceeding into the other lane....Thankfully there were no vehicles travelling in the opposite direction at that moment....To the person that DID NOT yield.....hope you read this message because you are an idiot!!!!
