This is a spectacular production from National Geographic produced in 2008. One of the contributors says at the 1hr 22m mark that if we havent reduced our carbon emissions by 2015 we are in dire trouble.The bad news is that not only have we not reduced our emissions we have radically increased them. We are now in a time of abrupt climate change and there is no going back from where we are now. As global warming escalates it accelerates We have returned back into the atmosphere in little more than a 100yrs giga tonnes of carbon that the planet has scrubbed out of the atmosphere over million of years.
