This is a sweet and beautiful example of the love the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alahiwasallam) had for his grandchildren Hussein (radiallahu anhu) and Hassan (radiallahu anhu). One day the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alahiwasallam) was praying his salah/prayer and as Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alahiwasallam) went into sujood/prostration, the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alahiwasallams) grandchildren were in the room and they were very young at the time, Hussein and Hassan (radiallahu anhum) saw their grandfather was on the ground, they were young children who did not know what the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alahiwasallam) was doing so they jumped on the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alahiwasallams) back :) both children were on Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alahiwasallams) back individually at a time and together at a time playing, so as the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alahiwasallam) was staying in sujood/prostration for a long time, because his grandchildren were playing on his back, the people around (the sahabas) started worrying why the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alahiwasallam) was in sujood for so long, so a Sahaba went to the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alahiwasallam) looked down to see if the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alahiwasallam) was ok, the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alahiwasallam) with his hand movement told the Sahaba to go away, so as soon as the grandchildren got off the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alahiwasallams) back the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alahiwasallam) got up from sujood/prostration :) The Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alahiwasallam) allowed the children to play on his back for however long they wanted and stayed in sujood for his grandchildren, he allowed them to have their fun subhanAllah. Look at the beautiful love the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alahiwasallam) had for his grandchildren SubhanAllah! So my brothers and sisters when your in sujood next time and if your child or nephew or grandchild jumps on your back remember this story, smile and actually use that extra time in sujood/prostration for extra dhikr ;) This is a reminder to myself first :)
