This is a test. I will not get a grade on it. It is a matter of pass or fail. To me, it boils down to my moment by moment trusting Jesus, who is putting me on the Life-Road. God rescued us from dead-end alleys and dark dungeons. Hes set us up in the kingdom of the Son He loves so much, the Son who got us out of the pit we were in, got rid of the sins we were doomed to keep repeating. Col. 1:13-14 MSG Do I even know what these sins are that would like to continue to have their way in me? Not all, Im sure. Therefore, I continue to submit to The Shepherd of my Soul. I have the responsibility of keeping my spirit in agreement with His Spirit, and by degrees Jesus lifts me up to where He lived--in perfect concentration to His Fathers will, paying no attention to any other thing. Oswald Chambers 3/18 I have no idea what this day holds, but I love and trust my Savior, my Restorer. The life of faith is not a life of mounting up with wings, but a life of walking and not fainting. Can I ever relate to this! There have been the mounting with wings times, but for two years, I have increasingly had to reach up to grab onto Your Spirit, the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead. It has been there EVERYTIME! CONTEND!! PERSERVERANCE!! My assignments to be able to pass this test. As you learn more and more how God works, you will learn how to do YOUR work. Well pray that you have the strength to stick it out over the long haul--not the grim strength of gritting your teeth but the glory-strength God gives. It is strength that endures the unendurable and spills over into joy, thanking the Father who makes us strong enough to take part in everything bright and beautiful He has for us.
