This is a travesty of justice that must be remedied. Abraham Bolden was the first African-American Secret Service agent assigned to the presidential protection detail, selected personally by John F. Kennedy. After Dallas, Mr. Bolden told the Warren Commission that several of the agents assigned to JFK in Dallas partied late into the night of November 21, 1963 and into the next morning, and some became drunk, which violated Secret Service policy. For airing this dirty laundry, Mr. Bolden in 1964 was falsely accused of soliciting a bribe from a counterfeiting ring that he helped break, and was unjustly convicted. He ending up serving three years in prison. Please sign the petition asking President Obama to pardon this honorable man.
