This is a very sad day for me. :( I have been asked to lock down my Facebook wall, make it visible to friends only, and comb through my friends list--all because ISIS has, apparently, harassed families of Air Force members via Facebook (Popular Military and Military Daily News have the story for those interested--I dont follow Fox News, but apparently it was there, too.) We were forwarded a statement from the US Army regarding our Facebook pages. It is very hard for me to believe I live in a world and at a time that this is taking place, but I will do as I was asked. I will comb through my friends list and close the privacy of my page. I love meeting people from all over the world, and yes I have Muslim friends (just as I have Hindu, Christian, Atheist, Agnostic, Jewish, Buddhist, gay, lesbian, black, Hispanic, Asian, tall, short, fat, skinny, and any number of other types of friends.) So today I feel somewhat imprisoned--somewhat trapped--between doing what is safe for those who serve in the United States Armed Forces and doing what comes naturally in my heart. At any rate, if youd like to remain a part of my posts, please let me know. Sorting through the friends list will be difficult, but if I truly dont *know* you or interact with you in a personal way, I need to evaluate. Im sorry. God bless America. I still believe in world peace.
