This is a very sad posting. I do know that the previous regime was an oppressive one but I do not believe two wrongs make a right. I would have thought the the 1994 elections would have been an indication of change. A change to make things better for all. A rainbow nation is what the people were looking forward to. But it seems that hatred is something that runs in the veins of the rainbow nation. How nice it would be to have the true nature of a rainbow to be represented in a nation that seems to be broken right now. I think if this nation is to become a nation of that it says it is it will be a hell of a nation. A nation of many cultures that are unique in there own way. All that needs to happen is to drop the hatred and work to become one of the greatest nations on this planet. Just my thoughts as I grew up in this country but no longer felt safe to live there.
