This is a very simple and effective way at putting some so large into understandable terms. And we wonder why we are experiencing such unusual weather patterns around the globe or why entire species are disappearing. Man is single handedly and by far the most destructive and harmful presence the plant Earth has ever encountered. The saddest part of all this is that we are completely aware of this fact and what we must do to correct it…and yet we continue down this path making very little, if any, changes in our daily lifestyle to correct the damage being done. Due to our addiction to fossil fuels and greedy, wasteful nature and the love of money, we choose to provide lip service and convince ourselves that we are doing something and making changes for the better. When we cut down the last tree, pollute the last fresh water source and have no clean air to breath, we will cease to exist and there will be no one left to document the error of our ways and more importantly, no one left behind to read the tragic words on the pages. Then and only then can the earth shake us off like a bad cold and begin the healing process in order to repair the repeated abuse we so carelessly and mindlessly afflicted on the world.
