This is a very special day for me.......43 years ago Den, Alen and I were living in Enid and got up early that morning excited about our drive to Oklahoma City. We had a very important meeting at 10 A.M. This was all prearranged and so events happened quickly. We were welcomed to this home, talked with a couple of workers, and taken to a room for a short wait......which in my mind seemed like forever. A lady came in and placed the most adorable baby girl in my arms then left the room. Some thirty minutes later she returned and said in no uncertain terms........is this the one or do you want to wait......What on earth was she thinking. We gave her the precious one and the clothes we had brought. Papers were signed and within an hour we were out the door with our bundle of joy. We had lunch with a relative that lived in the City and then headed home. What a wonderful day.........and what joy she has brought to our lives.
