This is a video from our last trip to Guatemala. We conducted a medical clinic at a live dump that many call home. They are chasing the boy for tickets. We only were able to service woman & children with tickets. You can see the urgency in the residents of the dump as they chase him for a chance to be seen by a doctor. Theres no medical care and even if youre on the verge of death if you cant pay you wont be allowed in the hospital. Many ask me why I spend my time supporting another country; well when you live through something like this youre transformed in a way no words will explain. Ive worked in what we consider extreme poverty but never witnessed such heart wrenching pleads for help. We never made it through the line and at the end, we only were able to supply parasite medication because many are in extreme pain due to eating parasite infested trash. I believe we are all connected...any help is better than none at all. Stay grateful
