This is a video of a Palestinian mother offering her son as a suicide bomber and calling it the best day of her life. Now lets analyze the video - 1. How many times did you hear Palestine in the video? None 2. How many times did you hear freedom or freedom for Palestine? None 3. How many times did you hear jihad, allah and paradise? Many times It is clear that the Palestinian struggle is only a religious war by the Muslims against the Jews. If this was really about freedom, then Palestinians should have also resisted Egypt and Jordon when they were occupying Gaza and West Bank, but that was never an issue for the Palestinians, it was always about Israel. While its true that Israels occupation in the West Bank raises some moral questions, but the other question that rises it, how do you engage or negotiate with someone who just wants to kill you thinking that will get them to paradise? How do you have a rational argument with someone who has no capability of rational thought but is only driven by hate for you? How do you respect the human rights of someone who will kill and your family, the first chance they get? Its a complex situation in the middle east and its important to understand what Israel is dealing with before we jump to conclusions.
