Praise God the Remnant awakes. waste of effort and time- grasping at every possible straw and non-applicable exegesis to apologettically do away with the Sabbath day or justify sunday keeping in its place, when there is new testament confirmation of the sabbath day as well as prophetic confirmation. Hebrews 4:9-10 (KJV) (New testament after crucifixion, resurrection and ascension) 9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Are you a people of God? Jesus also took the time to teach about the sabbath day before He was crucified: Matthew 12:12: How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days. So selflessly helping people is lawful on the sabbath. What would be the point of this teaching if the sabbath was about to not matter anymore? Jesus proclaimed He is LORD of the Sabbath day Matthew 12:8 (KJV) For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day. this video asserts that Jesus is now Lord [of something that does not matter]. People can (and should) meet any day of the week, as many times as possible to pray, teach, fellowship and even worship -none of those things are a requirement of the 7th day sabbath commandment, not have anything to do with it. You are to rest from your works as God did from His on the 7th day and keep it holy unto Him in honor and acknowledgement of Him as Creator and Sanctifier. and Jesus said: 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. ----Matthew 5:18-19 (KJV) Let me know when the propesied 2nd coming, millenial reign and lake of fire judgement takes place (and heaven and earth passes away) and then the law MAY be altered (although Isaiah confirms even the sabbath remains in the new heaven and earth- so much for that). God forbid: yea, we establish the law. since this heretic is trying to DE-establish the law, I am, to the contrary, establishing it, as Paul exhorted those of us in the faith should. 2 Timothy 4:3-4 (KJV) 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. ^^^dont heep up teachers that disagree with the word of God. Colossians 2:8 (KJV) Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. - keeping a specific day in the week holy INSTEAD of the 7th day is a tradition of men, regardless of whether Constantine initially enacted it or other preceding anti-semetic or unlearned/luke-warm gentile converts. To conclude, following any law in and of itself is not going to attain anyone salvation, for salvation is only attained through true faith, belief and trust in Jesus the Messiah, what He did, is doing and will do and everything He has said. Keeping of any of the commandments is to show love, trust and devotion toward the Father and Son and our love for one another. The 4th commandment is love and Honor toward our Creator. (ps- and His false interpretation of Hebrews 4 and skipping verse 9 is laughable.... I could sit here and rip his video apart all afternoon, but the above should be more than sufficient to discredit His vain and heretical effort.
