This is a well outlined article of the history of more money going to vouchers without a strong record of results. But the real question should be: what do we want to do on education in our communities moving forward? After the largest cut to education in Wisconsin history, should we as a state continue to throw more good money after bad in a failed experiment that, after 24 years, shows no better results than our community public schools? There is a clear difference between the two parties on this. One is seeking a full expansion, pulling even more money out of our publicly accountable schools, while the other is moving to ensure all our schools are publicly accountable and dont get any incentive for giving up on kids.
