This is a wonderful age we are living in. The age of religion. The age of unreasonable intellectual able oxy morons (the space bar was intentionally pressed with a specific finger). Let us celebrate. Religion won! Yayy! The prophet is avenged. Christ will come right now and redeem only those who can understand unpronounceable and unspeakable atrocities. The grand finale of Hindutva too might be at hand with every theory getting a saffron highlight and dear hindu women making sure they pop out 4 kids at least (its always the women at the end of the day)!! And PK was born. What a welcome respite. What a refreshing gust of fresh air from some planet beyond the beyond. One almost sees hope. If there were such a place...! What an irony! Here in India, a satirical PK is celebrated with all the colours of the spectrum including the colours of intolerance and hate. And out there in Paris there are martyrs for satire. Maybe we should allow for a new religion. Satire. Well it provokes thought, comes from genius, reaches the multitudes, converts, the works. Why not make it a religion? But oops! No holy men here who want to wipe away evil by killing people. Thats no religion then. No. But maybe the hatred to Satire will qualify it? Much to think about. Or perhaps Id rather drink my tea and plan my lunch. I choose the latter. Peace.
