This is absolutely the most sense this guy has ever made. Most of the words in his speech are the same words that the liberty-minded among us are thinking every day. Do I prefer these measures to need to be taken at all? Of course not. Do I prefer that gaps in relationships between people be bridged by the state. Of course not. But the point is, this is an important gap that has been bridged, and if the words of Obama can be taken at face value, then the intent is to everyones benefit. This doesnt mean that the cause of liberty cannot be advanced. In fact, quite the opposite. The socioeconomic benefits reaped by open lines of contact between the people of two tax farms run by different governments cannot be denied. There is boundless opportunity contained herein, for those courageous enough to break through their preconceived ideologies. To me, this is a clear message solidifying the position that war and chaos cannot be allowed to be perpetuated as a policy of first resort (or any other).
