This is all it takes A couple of days ago, one of our members was driving home Irene Avenue when she saw a suspicious character standing around near the junction with Mcloud Street. She also knew this area had been suffering from a spate of daytime burglaries so kept the guy under observation from a safe distance. She then contacted the Neighbourhood Watch Control Room with her radio and armed response vehicles from TSU Protection Services and Secure Rite were despatched to the location. On their arrival, they quickly realised that the man was concealing something and called for Saps. He was found in possession of house-breaking implements and taken to the police station. Unsurprisingly, the daytime burglaries in the area seem to have stopped. Neighbourhood Watch, are you doing your bit?
