This is all well and good, all true that is said about Tony Abbott but now there is a war looming and as ever, in time of war the nation gets behind the leader. Abbott could have scripted this himself - the only thing that would keep the nation from dumping him at the next election for robbing them of up to $100,000 of their superannuation, war, the Viagra of the poor political ratings, how to turn a downward droop into an upward swing, just mention war, it works every time. Worked for Maggie Thatcher in 1982, it worked for John Howard in 2003 and now it will be used again to shore up the shabby house of cards that Tony Abbotts coalition government has become.
