This is an absolute disgrace.... people need to recognise that downgrading st johns will affect all of us. These decisions are being taken by unelected appointees who are pandering to the demands of greedy senior practitioners who see Livingston as a backwater. Time to get rid of these parasites!!! What are the political representatives doing to protect West Lothian.....very little with one or two exceptions. I urge you all to contact all your elected members councillors... msps...meps and mps irrespective of their party politics and find out why they are not opposing this ludicrous downgrade. Do not wait until the next elections it will be too late. Also ask why consultant and surgeons are being transported in at weekends to conduct operations at fantastic costs... And ask how many ambulances are operational in west lothian
