This is an apology to anyone Ive offended in the APG community. While this is a photography-oriented community, I still have to remember words have power, and they have power to hurt just as easily as a powerful image can haunt and horrify the viewer. So, if my comments in the group have caused confusion, or pain, or feelings of disrespect over any discussion on photography in general or individual photo in particular, please accept my apologies for any perceived offense you may have perceived. Its not my intention for my comments to be malicious, even if they somehow are perceived in that manner. My intentions are to be helpful and constructive for future photographic endeavors, but sometimes, the message gets lost in the medium, or the receiver simply denies any validity to the message being sent (which is understandable). So, I cant ask anyone to change their opinions of me, I can only change what I control, and perhaps thats my participation level in this group. I may simply scale it back to lurk mode, and check out the group periodically. I never want my presence in any group to engender disdain or discord, I would rather excuse myself and move on, rather than propagate unease and stay where I was not welcomed or valued. Does this mean Ill never attend an APG event? No, but Im just going to lay low, and smooth over any ruffled feathers if possible, and work on taking solid photos when time permits, and hope to anyone Ive offended that they accept my apologies, let bygones by bygones, and hope they can put their energies into creating photographic art, and not on wasting any more emotions towards hating or despising me personally. I will work on doing the same. I will not be responding much to this thread, except if clarifications need to be made. And if the admins feel they need to delete the thread, it is their right and prerogative to do so. Again, no hard feelings.
