This is an awesome grain pattern! The Quilted grain is what keeps it from looking like a solid color. It is like a patch work quilt and thats how it got its name. This heart with the two cut outs is a very dynamic piece. The cut outs are carved out in back to give the cut out hearts a real dimensional look. It takes a bit of time carving out the back but I feel it is really worth it for the end result! :) This heart could symbolize two hearts coming together as one. I feel we are all one but to combine two worlds into a shared life is one of the most precious things about life. Two spirits walking side by side rejoicing in all that life has to offer. Wow! Of course there are so many ways to look at Hearts. Collectively all of our hearts, all of our feelings and our stories are infinite.
