This is an event that is close to my heart, the East London History Symposium. East Londons legacy has inspired many residents to advocate for the preservation of our communitys past. This event brings together residents of our city to celebrate our heritage while enjoying intriguing presentations that engage listeners with various elements in the story of our citys East end. This events planning committee is comprised of different community associations within East London, including; the Old East Village Community Association, the Hamilton Road Community Association and the Kipps Lane and Community Association. This *free* Symposium is on September the 11th at 7:00pm in Aeolian Hall. Join us in a vibrant celebration of our past and bring what you learn into our future as a community!
