This is an example of refreshing a very old rustic meat safe , this piece had paint peeling and flaking all over .....easy fixed . No i didnt sand it pr painting No I didnt undercoat it No I didnt even wipe the dirt and cobwebs off it ........I embraced every little lump and bump and simply opened a tin of vintage cream #chalkez2paint and paint it straight on 3 coats on top 2 on the rest ....the front door I mixed up a similar colour then painted straight over the peelin paint on the door ......... I walk away for a couple of hours then hand sanded bring through the many layers of paint from years gone by ... My paint stuck to it and now no peeling or mess and its been waxed ...It looks old and rustic and that makes me very happy ...... So go did out those pieces of furniture you thought would be to hard to bring back to life , get yourself som #chalkez2paint ,honestly the easist paint to use on the market in Australia and make yourself smile
