This is an example of the failure of "Peace" officers to de-escalate a situation and a perceived case of contempt of cop. This man did not have the mental capacity to understand the nature of what was going on, yet he posed no threat to anyone. Because the police are no longer trained in de-escalation tactics and have only one-track minds, coupled with the fact that they know they will not be held accountable for their actions, this mentally challenged man was murdered. The inevitable outcome: They investigated themselves and found that they did nothing wrong. Make no mistake, because of the lack of accountability this will happen again.
