This is an excellent programme for screenwriters! My recommendation: APPLY IMMEDIATELY. 1. You only have to submit a story now (before August 31). 2. 100 stories will be selected whose writers will be invited for one of five screenwriting workshops held all over India, where they will have a one-on-one interaction on their stories, with a senior screenwriter. 3. After that, when they submit their script, it will be read by a senior screenwriter or writer-director, who will send detailed feedback. On receiving this, they revise their scripts, and re-send them. 4. The top 15 scripts will be invited to a Script Lab where they will have intensive one-on-one meetings with five Indian and international senior screenwriters or writer-directors. 5. Upon revising their scripts after this extensive feedback, they will be called for a meeting with studio heads, producers, directors, and festival directors to pitch their script, in a bid to have it produced! So, not only do these writers receive mentoring all the way from story to final draft of script, but also get invited to a script lab, and most importantly, get to pitch their script at studios and production houses.
