This is an excellent status from Coach Carlene - TopicsExpress

This is an excellent status from Coach Carlene Steenekamp...... Healthy lifestyle is all about consistency & moderation = consistent moderation will ALWAYS ALWAYS win. Period. This doesnt only apply to the people who need to lose weight. It applies to people who need to gain weight and those who are at their ideal weight. It applies to your diet AND your exercise. It applies to those who need to do better AND those who do too much. Those who are too far off from center on either side of not enough and too extreme. Dont go crazy. Dont go on a diet because that implies you will go off it at some point. Dont be overzealous with a workout plan. NO, going from 0 days a week to 6 days a week is NOT advised. Going twice a day is NOT advised. Forgoing your normal daily living to ONLY focus on diet and exercise is NEVER advised. The secret...... Everyone is seeking the secret to being fit and healthy. I just gave it to you. Find a way of eating that is sustainable LONG TERM. Create the smallest calorie deficit possible that still allows fat loss. Dont cut out entire food groups unless you are PROVEN to be adversely affected by them. Yes, I am saying keep dairy. Keep grains. Keep meat. Keep white food. Heck, keep SOME junk food..... If that is what you are used to eating. I PROMISE YOU, when you do it right.... consistent moderation... you CAN be LEAN, FIT, TONED (or muscular - my preference) and HEALTHY and still have Krispy Kream and Pizza and Mexican and Five Guys in your life. Cross my heart. You have my word. Quit trying to beat the biology with all the tricks Oprah and Dr. Oz give out. 1) I dont think either have dawned the door of fit, toned & healthy physiques or lifestyles and 2) They are both HEAVILY paid to endorse ANY and EVERY product they put on the air. Dont be fooled. Be consistently moderate. It really IS that easy. You can follow Carlene here...... https://facebook/MommysBody :-)
